Had a little session on full tilt last night with my good friend pez102 went deep in a few with some insignifiacnt cashes but the 35k went awesome came second, shipped $5400. I feel like im coming back to my best at the moment, its been a really difficult couple of weeks where iv been running bad/playing average and it sucked. Was really patient on the final table as were the rest of the table as Sourdeez was playing like a maniac and even with 500k he was just waiting to blow up, it was inevitable. After he went out against lucky seven 77 v AA. We were down to heads up pretty quickly, with lucky seven having 1.1 million and i had just under 300k so there was a bit of work to do with the bb at 20k couldnt really wait around.
The final hand i limped in with Q9off now up to about 380k.. he checked, flop comes A92 two spades, he checks i bet 20k, he then raises to 80k, he had been pretty tight on the final table but heads up it seemed he was turning the aggression up, it still felt like i was ahead and didnt feel like he had the A, and my 9 kicker was excellent. I felt a 9, or 2 or flush draw and even air were in his range so i raised to 220k committing myself he pushed and i called, he turned up A7.. gutted it held and he won. well played sir worked perfectly for him. I hate finishing anything but first though always plays on my mind if i dont take it down.
Still, confidene is high, im playing well and this win was coming after a few weeks of just missing out on the big $. It feels good. Heres a hand that helped me on my way to the win.
